The wooden whistles of our 'indi wooden toys series' are 'mouth-operated' and cheerful whistles shaped like an animal and coloured with paint made of vegetable extracts, resulting in warm and beautiful colours.
Our colourful and cheerful wooden animal whistles are a lot of fun for children, but sometimes a bit less fun for parents (in case they are looking for some quiet moments and peace in the household). There are 4 different wooden animal whistles, each one of them is a real collector's item.
Each wooden toy of this series is hand made in beautiful and sustainable mango and halle wood. After the careful selection of the wood, our craftsmen transform it step by step into beautiful wooden whistles. The colouring process is based on the principles of lacquerware using a process of lac-turnery, an indigenous traditional handicraft practiced in an around the town of Channapatna (India). Each wooden toy of this series is individually branded by the natural grains of the wood and the touch of the craftsman.
